South Australia

At Red Gum Disability Support Services, we provide support coordination and support workers to regional South Australia.
Support Coordination is provided to participants in the outer northern suburbs of Adelaide, mid-north, Yorke Peninsula and Riverland.
Support work/peer mentoring is provided to participants in the outer northern suburbs of Adelaide and mid-north.
We are a mobile service bringing supports to the participant in their community. We provide innovative support to build a supportive community for each client within their local community. Utilising a supportive community to build confidence and skills, helping to reduce a participant’s reliance on formal supports long-term.
Supporting participants to feel empowered in their decision-making abilities, confidence in their skills along with a supportive community creates a feeling of belonging, a grounding in their community as a valued member of society.
With a focus on supporting people with neurological and psycho-social conditions of all ages, we draw on our experiences as carers, peers, graduates, and family to provide connection, education and understanding to our participants, their families and community.
We have training and certificates including Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Commerce, Cert 3 Individual Support, WWCC, Mental Health First Aid, First Aid, CPR, SC training and continue to expand on our education and understanding.
We currently have capacity to support more participants across all regions for support coordination, and limited capacity for support work/peer mentoring for younger persons.
